Jeanne Carlson Smith, RN, MSN, one of the nation's leading experts on the challenges of aging, has long been dedicated to serving older adults as a care expert and patient advocate. Through extensive, in-depth work and observation as a Medicare Home Health Administrator, Geriatric Care Manager, and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, Jeanne saw the growing need to help families navigate the formidable maze of aging services.
To that end, in 2000, Jeanne founded MARCA™ Care Management, a
unique company organized to meet the growing challenges of older adults and
their families. Using a holistic approach, Jeanne and her committed staff of
professionals ensure MCM clients stay independent and in control for as long as
possible.
Technology is rapidly changing the landscape of our aging society. These
changes allow for many individuals to age in their own homes homes, in some
cases eliminating the need for assisted living, and allowing the individual to
continue with activities they enjoy most.
In 2009, MARCA™ expanded the company to include unique products designed to extend independent lifestyles. Products offered through MARCA™
Freedom Alert are tested by our care managers; they are safe, reliable and offer peace of mind for their entire family. As new lifestyle products become available, they will be added but only when they meet our strict standards.
